What is an Oil Cooled Servo Stabilizer?

For industrial applications above 150kVA, air cooling becomes insufficient. An oil cooled servo stabilizer uses transformer oil as both an insulating and cooling medium, allowing much higher power densities and protection against dust, moisture, and corrosive atmospheres.

How often does transformer oil need replacement?
Under normal conditions, the oil can last 10-15 years. However, we recommend periodic testing every 2 years. If the oil degrades (dark colour, acidic smell), it should be filtered or replaced.
